Early Times Report

Jammu, May 17: Jammu Province People Forum (JPPF) today expressed concern over the grave situation following the death of a person in Bhadarwah area. They termed it as handiwork of antinational elements, who were hell bent to disturb the communal harmony in the area.
President Pavittar Singh Bhardwaj condemned the violent protests by the vested interest with nefarious design to communalize the otherwise peaceful atmosphere in Bhadarwah. "It seems that the Islamic Jehad is again trying to spread its tentacles in the said area to terrorize the minority community with a deadly motive for ethnic cleansing which should be taken seriously by the state government and be dealt with iron hands", he said, adding that even in the past the said outfit had made lot of attempts in the Kishtwar for disturbing age old communal harmony in the region which had not been dealt properly and serious resulting in spreading of communal violence into other areas. The president urged the Governor to immediately arrest the culprits who were deliberately trying to give a communal shape to issue. He further stressed that the government should expose the conspiracy being hatched by some anti-national elements by handing the case to NIA.
Making a fervent appeal, president asks the public to maintain age old amity and brotherhood besides be vigilant against mischief mongers who spread rumours.
