JMC Mayor visits Cable Car Project site

Jammu, May 17: Mayor of Jammu Municipal Corporation Chander Mohan Sharma today visited various destinations in the Cable Car Project site.
According to press release, Chander Mohan Sahrma visited three destinations Mahamaya, Bahu fort area and Peerkho.
He was accompanied by Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Technical Advisor to Mayor, Anil Gupta, Nodal officer JMC, Deputy Project Manager Cable Car Corporation, Mechanical team working for regulation of the Cable Car Project along with prominent citizens of Jammu city.
Mayor, JMC during the visit pointed out various short comings and directed the Deputy Project Manager for construction of more view points, architectural and art fountains, rest shelters, dense afforestation, installation of decorative benches including hanging flower buckets/plants along the approach walkway to these spots.
At Peerkho, the Mayor directed the authorities of Cable Car Project for development of waiting shelters, land scapping and development of the river front surrounding the area for lush green spaces for facilitating the citizens/tourists by making it as most fascinating destination. Cable Car Corporation authorities informed the Mayor that this prestigious Project will became functional with in one month time positively.
