Residents of Dedni village without electricity since 15 days

Doda, May 27: Electrical transform of village Dedni destroyed before 15 days ago but till date PDD Department Doda has not taken any action. The Local people carry out the quails themeself and submitted PDD office Doda and fresh quails received from Power Development department. But these too destroyed after installing. The Village Dedni about 35 kilometres away from district Doda is facing a lot of power problems before 15 days and is being totally deprived of electricity form last 3 weeks. The electricity cuts do not have any fixed timings and there is no electricity most of the time. The local people no option to charging mobile or electrical battery.
The worst affected of the situation are the students., The local people and student find it difficult to study in no light and it becomes more difficult during the night. Not only students but common citizen is also affected by the faulty system of electricity. The villager feels helpless and has no option to solve this big problem. Even the people took his problem to authorities but no heed was paid and the problem persisted. It is a complete failure of the Power Development Department of district Doda not to have solved the problem for so many days now and leaving the students (villager) are hopeless to study in darkness.
Single faces Line Saroh to Dedni before 35 years but till date PDD Department no sanction HT Line. About 500 hundred people living in this area. Its shame for PDD department Doda they ignore since long time local people of village Dedni. The village houses an ancient Durga Mandir Religious Asstan which is also an unexplored picturesque tourist spot, a mini valley which still sans better electricity to attract tourists. One of also police post in Durga Mata Mandir Dedni before two year they also living without electricity.
Another native village Sutla about one kilometre away from village (Dedni) near revenue village Hambal about 6 kilometre distance there are 20 houses still waiting electricity since independence. There is no electricity in till date. The question is where from Modi digital Bharat. Now local people demand immediately necessary action and solve Electricity problem.
