Salal Power Station organizes Students Rally to mark 'Swachhta Pakhwada'

REASI, May 27: As part of 'Swachhta Pakhwara' being observed from 16.05.2019 to 31.05.2019, Salal Power Station organised a Rally of students of Govt. Middle School, Aghar Ballian at Village Aghar Ballian and Kambal Danga, Reasi to aware the inhabitants of said Village about the importance of Swachhta. A large number of students with banners and placards passed through village Aghar Ballian, chanting slogans on Swachh Bharat and conveying 'Swachhta' message to the general public. On the occasion, a few Dustbins were also installed in the School.
Briefing about the activity, R.K. Gupta, Senior Manager (PR) said that among other activities like Display of Banners at strategic locations of Salal Power Station, Cleanliness Drive and installation of Dustbins at Jyotipuram Township, Nukkar Nattak and installation of Dustbins at Govt. High School, Gran Morh etc., the said Rally has been organised to convey Swachhta Message through little ambassadors of the sacred Swachhta Mission and sensitise the masses about Swachhta.
Shivani Bisht, Senior Manager (HR) and Anitha Roy Manager (Environment) advised the students to contribute in 'Swachh Bharat Mission' with their small actions like using dustbins as a matter of habit and keeping their homes, class rooms as well as school premises neat and clean.
