JAMMU, May 28: To highlight the various buring issues of teaching and non teaching community and bringing up better education scenario in the state and remind the present regime about its commitment of streamlining the state education set up The General Line Teachers Forum organized a press conference at Press Club jammu under the Leadership of Neeraj Sharma ,state president. While addressing the Mediaperson Neeraj Sharma said that it is for the first time that after the implementation of 7th PAY commission new pay anomaly is being created with the TEACHERS APPOINTED IN 2009 after their IN-SITU Promotion ( Non Functional Promotion ). The salary of these Teachers is been fixed less as compaired to their Juniors . GLTF demanded the GOVT. should take immediate step and resolve this sensitive issue and extend the benefit of RULE - 5 of SRO -193 of Finance Department dated 24th of April 2018 or Revised The j and k Civil Service (Higher Standard Pay Scheme) Rules.
Neeraj Sharma while interacting with media person showed their serious concern and resentment over continuous delay in resolving the legitimate demand OF Regularization of i/c Lab Assistsant, Jr. Assistant, Lib. Assistant through Departmental Promotion Committee which was lying pending for the last 5 years and informed the media that for the last 10 months forum met with all the authorities in the department i.e CEO, Director, Secretary to Govt. Education Department and even Advisor (G) To Governor but no of the authority can resolve the issue of Deprived class having their no fault. Neeraj Sharma urged upon Governor S.P Malik to personally intervene into this matter and provide Justice .
