| GRP Jammu Clinches Railway Premier League Cricket Tournament | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, May 27: GRP Jammu defeated Parcel Cricket team of Railway by 91 runs in the Railway Premier League Cricket Tournament, being organized at Railway ground, Railway Station Jammu. Winning the toss and elected to bat first, GRP Jammu cricket team scored 193/6 runs in the stipulated 20 overs. In reply, Parcel Cricket team of Railway scored 102 in 11.5 by losing all wickets, thus GRP Jammu won the match by 91 runs. Joginder Chib was adjudged as man of the match for his all-round performance; he scored 91 runs and also obtained 4 wickets. Man of the tournament was given to Susheel Kumar; he scored 304 runs in the overall tournament. Nitish Sharma was declared as best bowler of the tournament. Daniel scored fastest 50 in the tournament; he scored 56 runs in 28 balls. Vikas Sharma of GRP Jammu has done tremendous fielding in the Tournament. Mohd Arshad, Sr. Superintendent of Police Railways Jammu appreciated GRP Cricket team for their performance. |
