Principal Sessions Judge Ramban inaugurates Legal Aid Clinic at Ukhral

RAMBAN, May 30: Principal District and Sessions Judge (PDSJ), Ramban, KS Parihar, who is also the Chairman of District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), today inaugurated a Legal Aid Clinic here at Ukhral of Ramban district.
This Legal Aid Clinic has been opened under the second phase of the Project 'Access to Justice' initiated by the J&K State Legal Services Authority under the aegis of its Patron-in-Chief, Mrs. Justice Gita Mittal.
On the occasion, a Legal Aid Service awareness camp was also organised by the Chairman, Tehsil Legal Service Committee, Ukhral, CJM, Ramban, Anoop Kumar Sharma. The PDSJ, KS Parihar, Secretary, DLSA,Ramban, Sub-Judge, Prem Sagar, President, Bar Association, Ramban, Advocate TH Malik and Munsif, Ukhral, Javed Rana educated the villagers including local Sarpanchs and Panchs about the free legal aid service being provided by the government to the poor litigants who can't afford the costly court cases.
Speaking on the occasion, PDSJ, Parihar, while apprising the villagers about the various legal aids being provided to the poor litigants under the Free Legal Services, exhorted them to avail the facilities to fight for their rights and against any injustice done to them.
The local BDO, SHO and Para-Legal Volunteers and other local civil and police officers were also present on the occasion.
