Early Times Report
Jammu, May 30: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Thursday congratulated Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, for taking oath for the second consecutive term and exuded hope that the leaders from Jammu region would follow his footsteps and would put Jammu first.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in Vimala Colony, Amar Colony and other adjoining areas Munish told the people that its after a longtime that country has got a strong leader like Modi and the overwhelming mandate which people have given him has proven it beyond doubt that he is the leader of the masses. "In 2014 Assembly elections we gave an overwhelming mandate to the BJP leaders and they won 25 Assembly seats from Jammu region. Despite getting the decisive mandate from the Jammu people they couldn't do much for us. Their dismal performance in the government disappointed us all," said, Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
He said, "A common man in Jammu is facing multiple problems. The representatives, whom the Jammuite has voted for during all these years, have not lived upto to their expectations."
Munish asked the people to make up their mind for a change and elect such representatives, who can represent them at every forum and would always remain accessible."
