Jammu, May 30: Patel Cricket Club, KC Sports Club and GSI Tigers registered win against their opponents in the ongoing 2nd Police Public Cricket Premier League which is being organized by Zonal Police Headquarters Jammu in collaboration with KC Sports Club and Vishal Cricket Club Jammu at KC Sports Club Jammu.
In todays' matches Farooq Kaiser SP Headquarters Jammu was the Chief Guest who was introduced with the participating teams. While speaking he wished the players for their best performances in the tournament.
Earlier in the first match Patel Cricket Club defeated Vriddhi Royals by 7 wickets Batting first Vriddhi Royals scored 100 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in 20 overs with Deepak 20 runs, Abay singh 18 and Shivam koul 13 runs. From the bowling side Nityam took 3 wickets, Kartik took 2 wickets while Dhruv took 1 wicket .
In reply Patel Club chased the target in 17.5 overs by losing 3 wickets thus won the match by 7 wickets. Shivansh 52, Arya Suvanch 30 runs were the main scorers. From the bowling side Tegvansh, Lakshaya and Amaan took 1 wicket each. Nityam was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from Ramada and Vivo.
In the second match KC Sports Club defeated Horizon Kings by 2 wickets. Batting first Horizon Kings scored 147 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 20 overs with Rajangad 57 runs, Akshit Rana 29 runs and Surya 19 runs. From the bowling side Aman took 3 wickets, Madhav took 2 wickets while Musaif took 1 wicket.
In reply KC Sports Club chased the target in 19.2 overs for the loss of 6 wickets thus won the match by 4 wickets. Vinayak 61 , Rohit 36 and Aman 22 were the main scorers. From the bowling side Arbab took 3 wickets, Rajangad and Surya took 1 wicket each.
Vinayak was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from Ramada and Vivo.
In another match GSI Tigers defeated AKN Strikers by 4 wickets. Batting first AKN Strikers scored 90 runs for the loss of all wickets in 20 overs with Sumit Kumar 26 runs and Dhruv Parmar 24 runs were the main scorers. From Bowling side Vansh and Sourav took 3 wickets each while Suraj and Manit took 1 wicket each.
In reply GSI Tigers chased the target in 17.5 overs for the loss of 6 wickets thus won the match by 4 wickets. Sourav 20 runs, Nikhal 19 and Junaid 18 29 runs were the main scorers. From bowling side Rahul and Ishan took 2 wickets each, Geetansh took 1 wicket. Sourav was declared man of the match he was awarded with Rs.2000 and a gift hamper from ramada and Vivo.
The matches were officiated by Saleem Ur Rehman, Sadiq Hussain, Amit Gupta, Sham Singh langey, Dyal, Gurvinder Singh and Vinod.
