Militants ambush police party in Kishtwar, two SPOs injured 5/31/2019 1:23:26 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Jammu May 31: The unidentified Militants on Friday Morning ambush the police party on patrol in Apan area of remote Marwah Sub Division in Kishtwar District in which two Special Police Officers commonly known as SPOs were injured. As per the details available with Early Times, the injured SPOs were identified as Mohammad Iqbal and Ashiq Hussain. The Militants according to reports fled from the spot following which Army launched search and combing operation in the area which is once known as hot bed of Militancy. The militancy related incident took place in Marwah area after nearly 10 years following the target killing of Police Personal Bashir Ahmed alias Tundra. The injured were shifted to army based first aid center at Nawapachi Marwah and efforts are on to airlift them to Kishtwar as the area has no road connectivity as well as no health care is available in the area.
