4 killed, 9 injured in road accident at Khellani

Doda, May 31: Atleast four passengers have been killed while nine others sustained injuries in a road accident Doda.
As per reports available, a Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK02AN-8186 was carrying 13 passengers coming from Patnitop towards Bhalla, Doda. When it reached near Khellani area, just eight kilometres short of Doda town, the vehicle skidded off from road and plunged into a deep gorge.
A local social organisation youth team Ababel, SDRF and Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured person to district hospital for treatment.
The incident happened at around 12am during mid night on Thursday resulting into death of four persons while several other were in serious condition. Later, five injured were referred to GMC&H Jammu for special treatment.
The deceased identified as Badal son of Bushan Kumar resident Kunari Behlla, Ashwani Kumar son Madan Lal resident Kimarti Bhalla, Chanku Ram son of Bhalu Ram resident of Kursari Bhalla.
Injured have been identified as Raj Kumar son of Sheikh Ram-28 yrs, Baby son of Bushan Kumar 4 years, Uttma Devi wife of Bushan Kumar-35 yrs, Bushan Kumar son of Bansi Lal-36 yrs, Minto Kumar son of Shib Lal-28 yrs, Suresh Kumar son of Bhagat Ram-25 yrs, Akshay Kumar son of Bushan Kumar-10 yrs, Shetal Devi daughter of Bushan Kumar all residents of Kumari Bhalla, Arti Devi daughter of Anar Chand- 22 yrs, Soni Devi, daughter of Anar Chand-25 yrs both the residents of Paryote.
