Separate statehood for State only solution of J&K problem: Mankotia 5/31/2019 10:21:32 PM Early Times Report Udhampur, May 31: Extending greetings to PM Narendra Modi on becoming prime minister for second time, Former MLA and NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia said that people of Jammu Kashmir are hoping for peace and development of the state from newly formed central government. While addressing a press conference at Press Club Jammu, NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia reiterated his demand of separate statehood for both Jammu/Kashmir where as union territory status for Ladakh Divison. Mankotia said that separate statehood is the ultimate remedy to end discrimination with Jammu region which was going on from last 60 years in every field such as Government jobs or any developmental project. Mankotia strongly batted for separate statehood status for Jammu & also appeals to newly formed central government to intervene in this matter. NPP President Balwant Singh Mankotia also appeals to revoke the recent order of J&K Government on ban of daily wagers after 2010. In lastly Mankotia informed that on 3 June Panthers Party is going to stage one day protest dharna outside the office of NHAI Jammu over the issue of hike in the rates of Ban Toll Plaza. Mankotia strongly said that NPP will agitate aggressively on this issue till its logical conclusion.
