Jammu, June 1: Army Public School BD Bari celebrated its summer camp closing ceremony on 1st June 2019 after running twelve days summer camp for the students to make the best use of their summer vacation.
During the camp, 75 students of Classes I to 9th of the school and station children were offered a plethora of activities which included craft activities, music (vocal and instrument), Karate and sports. The classes on personality development were also conducted by the school counsellor. Students showcased their creations through an exhibition wherein, they displayed craft items made by them during the summer camp.
A cultural bonanza was organised where students presented eye-captivating orchestra performance and group song. Chief Guest of the day was Col. R P Gohain, CO 4/1 GR. He congratulated the students and motivated them to be an active participant in such activities as these activities help in the holistic development of a child.
Chief Guest presented certificates and gifts to the summer camp students. Neeta Rawal, Principal AP S B D Bari encouraged students to recognise their abilities and aptitudes. All the students participated enthusiastically in the camp and were excited to be a part of it. Vote of thanks was presented by Priyanka Duggal, CCA Coordinator. |
