Rahul Sahai elected as Chairman of Transport Nagar Association

Jammu, June 1: Transport nagar Association today unanimously choose and elected Rahul Sahai as Chairman of the Transport Nagar Association in a meeting held here today in presence of prominent citizens and members. They endorsed Sahai’s name to lead the association and also authorised him to select members of his team. Sahai appointed Deepak Daftari as General Secretary of the Transport Nagar Association considering his past experience of serving the association as Gen secy for 5 years
Members recalled Late Ram Sahai who rose Transport Nagar, they all remembered his efforts to engage with the members of transport nagar and his contribution for the betterment of transport nagar. They all bestow their confidence in Rahul Sahai in taking forward and leading the Association because of his experience in various Trade and Industry bodies, Thanking the members, Rahul sahai assured that he will put his best efforts for the improvement and betterment of Transport Nagar and shall work towards making the association vibrant.
Members deliberated that transport Nagar is in bad shape with no sanitation, encroachment on roads, No gates at entrance of transport nagar, lack of skilling of labour at neutral workshops, repairs of Roads, Irregular supply of water, lack of awareness in terms of labour dept and GST department, lack of dispensary in the area. Sahai gave a patience hearing to the issues raised by members of transport nagar in the meeting and assured time bound readdressal of issues and also to have executive body in place soon. He also suggested that the member’s directory should be made and members should meet Quaterly .
Sahai & daftari assured to extend full cooperation and also suggested that this would be possible only with the active participation of members, they also mentioned that the executive body and committees shall be constituted to deal with issues soon .
