| Ascend Telecom Infrastructure organizes world environment day | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 4: On the occasion of World Environment Day, Ascend Telecom Infrastructure Private Limited launched "Save Environment, Save Birds and Save Water" campaign here today at Gole Market park in Gandhi Nagar, in collaboration with State Floriculture Department.
The campaign started amidst the local public and climatic heat by exchanging views on environment preservation and care of flora fauna.
The drive was taken with full dynamism under the leadership of RK Dhar (Regional Operating Officer), wherein about 30 employees of the company participated.
Officer from Floriculture Department, Dr Rabia Bano Khan along with staff members were also present during the programme and delivered a knowledgeable lecture on importance of environment and highlighted threats which the Earth is facing and the way forward.
The campaign was aimed at encouraging the public to actively participate in the celebration of World Environment Day and also keep the environment ecofriendly, clean and healthy to lead a better life.
The progrmme concluded with the hanging of water clay pot for thirsty birds by team members of Ascend Telecom Infrastructure. |
