Early Times Report
Jammu, June 4: Due to corrupt dealing of former ministers and their dummy subordination from the last 20 years, , state power scenario is completely crumbling it was alleged by S. Deep Singh the founder member and national council member of Aam Aadmi Party in a press note issued here at Jammu today.
He said that that Jammu Division's Bagliyar hydro electric project is generating 850 MW power daily, Salal project is generating 390 MW and other NHPC projects of Jammu Division are generating 350 MW power daily whereas valley projects related information is unavailable for the time being.
He further revealed that merely 10% of generated power is defined as share of state whereas rest of power is shifted to the central pool and further it is revealed that per hour rate of such outgoing power is Rs. 2.5 Cr., press note added. After purchasing, Delhi govt. is providing electricity to its consumers @ Rs. 2.5/- to Rs. 4/- per unit whereas state PDD is charging @ Rs. 3/- to Rs. 7/- with no parameters, it further added.
He said that 60, 000 PDD daily wagers have been adjusted in valley whereas 55, 000 such daily wagers have to beat their breasts on roads daily for their due adjustment for which Jammu's NC, Congress & BJP based power ministers of recent past are straightway responsible but who cares? Jammu's Dogras recently voted as thumping support in favor of BJP while forgetting the pains of masses that have to face huge power cuts in hot summer, press note added.
Jammu BJP loudly dubs itself as Godfather of Jammuites but its recently out gone corrupt power ministers never bothered for local PDD daily wagers, press note added. The moment, a little wind takes place, power shutdown of hours together is to be faced as a result of so-called maintenance wing of PDD, it added.
AAP will start its fight against the injustice related to power sector & will plead for merely 10% revenue as central share and that too should be up to encashment of the investing money by the center, press note added. The huge earning from our power projects can change the shape of whole state on all fronts, it further added.
For a good & honest use of our earnings, a strong vigilance on corruption will be eminent and in that case, AAP will work for restoration of 'State Accountability Commission' (SAC) to its original shape, press note revealed. We shall also work for credible shaping of corrupt & derailed urban & rural development wings with a credible mechanism of district wise funds allocation, it further revealed. We appeal every state loving resident to be a part of AAP's clean politics for an overall welfare of state, AAP urged.
