| Not for Sale' biscuit packets recovered from Mendhar shopkeeper | | |

POONCH, June 4: A market checking team led by Naib Tehsildar Mendhar on Tuesday recovered a huge consignment of 'Not for Sale' marked biscuit packets from a shopkeeper here.
An order number 154-56 dated 04-06-2029 issued by the office of Tehsildar Mendhar on the directions of sub-divisional Magistrate Mendhar, a team comprising of Naib Tehsildar, SHO, TSO and Medical Officer conducted an extensive market checking of main market Mendhar. During the checking twenty dozen biscuit packets of brand Glucose Plus (Iron+Calcium) meant for Integrated Child Development Services (Anganwadi) supply with 'Not for Sale' label were recovered from a shopkeeper- 'Lone Kiryana Shop' near Jamia Masjid Mendhar.
Taking a strong note of the misappropiation of the commodity, Tehsildar Mendhar has directed for lodgement of an FIR against the erring shopkeeper and other people involved in it. |
