Jammu, June 5: All State Kashmiri Pandit Conference (ASKPC) has condemned the illegal encroachments of KPs property in Jammu by land mafia.
According to press release, President ASKPC, Advocate Ravinder Raina strongly condemned the illegal encroachments on KP property in Jammu by the land mafia, abetted by some local police officials, thereby sustaining & propagating the nefarious activities of the land grabbers.
Blaming the SHO & SDPO of Domana of working in cahoots with the lawbreakers, Advocate Raina said that a displaced KP owner, Ravi Ji & his sister are being robbed of their genuine and legal possession by the very law enforcing agency, which normally should be protecting the hapless citizens and implored the higher echelons of the police department to take strict action against the culprits, honouring the court orders in favour of the displaced victims.
Reflecting on the recent incident in Sheikhpora in Kashmir, President ASKPC said that the claims of the Government in providing security to the PM package employees sounds totally hollow as some people from another minority community having no migrant status, brandishing swords forcibly tried to occupy the Sheikhpora accommodation, meant for the package employees, rendering the symbolic police presence ineffective.
He appealed to Governor, S.P.Mallik to take cognisance of both the incidents and direct the concerned officials to implement the law of the State. |
