J&K Branch of ICAI organizes 5 K Run

Jammu, June 30: To mark its platinum Jubilee year, & continuing with its ongoing social activities during day "CA Week" , the J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India Organized a 5 K Run in collaboration with University of Jammu & Jammu Runners Group with a Social Message "Go Green, Go Clean & Go Healthy". The J&K Branch had earlier organised a Plantation drive & Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan during first two days on the onset of CA week.
Dr. Nirmal Singh, Speaker J&K assembly was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He appreciated the role of chartered accountants in the society & also lauded the efforts of J&K branch of ICAI for holding such type of activities which also coincide with the vision of Swami Vivekananda who had perceived for a developed India with healthy citizens. He later on awarded the winners of the 5 KM run.
CA. Shalay Razdan , Chairman , J&K Branch of ICAI , welcomed the Chief Guest Dr. Nirmal Singh & thanked him for joining & encouraging the CA. fraternity through is presence during CA. week celebrations .
The Winners of the run in various categories were CA. Gaurav Choudhary , Kanupriya Garg , Sonali , Balwinder , CA. Manish Sharma , Samriti Aggarwal , Neha Kaul , Samvit Sharma , Sandeep Aggarwal , Sana Saraf, Shriya Mahajan , Abhishake Gupta , Surbhi Arora & Dheeraj. Ojas Kapur , Ankit Gupta & Kanwaljit were declared winners in the kids category. All the finishers were also presented with medals.
The event was supported by Phalwan Di Hatti , Lion Fitness Gym & Spa, , PrevestDenPro , Wheelocity Motors, ,Studio Print Plaza , E-Going Solutions , & Regency Motors.
Earlier , in the warm session , the participants danced to the tunes of Zumba & Bhangra Dances which were performed by the Trainers of Lion Fitness Gym & spa .
The event was anchored by Ashish Gupta.
