JAMMU, July 11: A woman was killed while another injured when they were hit by a school bus on Thursday at Amphalla in Jammu,
Police said that a mini bus ferrying school children, coming from Janipura, when reached near Mian Dido Chowk, the driver lost its control and the vehicle hit the wall of a shop.
Two women standing outside the shop suffered injuries and were rushed to the hospital where one of them identified as Raj Rani (42), wife of Rattan Lal, Ward Number 13, was declared as brought dead.
Another woman namely Sweety (45), wife of Mohan, Ward Number 5, Akhnoor was under treatment. The driver escaped from the spot while a case was registered and investigation started. |
