Teachers' training programme held

Jammu, July 13: An integrated teachers' training programme was held in premises of Stephens International Public School, Miran Sahib aiming to gear up the entire teaching faculty after the summer break.
Satvinder Saini the Director SIPS along with Dean Academics Rama Jamwal and Vice Principal Ram Prakash Sharma graced the occasion.
The Headmistress Shweta Bakshi extended her warm welcome to the management and the resource persons hailing from varied fields.
Rohini Bhat, Senior Product Specialist and trainer with Orient Blackswan Pvt. Ltd. conducted an illuminating session on communication skills. She talked about the charismatic effect of the 7-C's : clear, concise, concrete, correct, coherent, courteous and complete which altogether make communication emphatic. She also stressed upon the need to explore learner's potential with verbal as well as non-verbal communication skills to enhance learning outcomes.
The teaching faculty of Stephens International Public School was also trained for the online communication which is the dire need of the hour.
The concluding session on Teaching - A Holistic Exercise was carried out by Inderpreet Kour Academic Coordinator with Pearson India Education Services Pvt. Ltd.
