The residents alleged that administration has divided Jammu city into parts poor and the rich. "In posh areas you will find everything in place, as most of the Bureaucrats and the politicians housed there, when it comes to localities, where common man is housed, we will find choked drains all the times, occasional water supply, mostly disappeared electricity, unfortunately, these basic need of urban and rural, one can imagine if the residents of urban areas are facing all these problems, but about the scattered population of rural", they said.
They said that they met former MLA Gandhi Nagar, Kavinder Gupta, even try to bring their burning issues in the notice of MLC Vikram Randhava, who however, assured us to provide funds for the development of their locality, but his promises could not see day lights. "Unfortunately, everybody backtracked and did not fulfill their words", they said and added that they even met Member Parliament Jugal Kishore last year submitted memorandum to him, but he also did nothing.
