PDC colony residents rue delay in settling land compensation to clear road bottlenecks

Kishtwar, July 13: The inhabitants of PDC colony, in the vicinity of the district headquarters rued the delay on part of the administration to clear the land compensation of a single land owner who had closed the road as a result of which the inhabitants living in and around the area suffered a lot.
As per the details available with Early Times, the inhabitants of PDC colony approached the authorities with the request to clear the compensation case of one land owner who had blocked the road as R&B department failed his compensation case for several years.
The people informed the authorities that the said land owner has installed gates on both side of the road and for around 50 meter stretch, he was charging money from the vehicle that passed from the area.
They said that they several times took up the matter with the concerned but all in vain.
They also informed the authorities about sanction of Ayush Hospital in the area and the said road also led to the newly sanctioned Ayush Hospital via Bal Ashram added that at the time of laying of foundation stone of the hospital, the land owner did not create any hurdle and give safe passage to the government vehicles, but after some time he again block the road causes inconvenience to the people.
They people urged upon him to into the matter sympathetically so that the people could not suffer any more beside also requested the authorities to ensure hassle free movement of the people on this road till the compensation of the said land owner could be cleared in time bond manner.
After giving patience hearing, the authorities assured the public delegation that he will look into the matter and also directed Executive Engineer R&B Division to take necessary action in this regard for ensuring hassle free movement on the road along with expedition of the compensation case of the said land owner.
