| DC Ramban visits Banihal, interacts with public | | |  Early Times Report
RAMBAN, Aug 9: Deputy Commissioner, Nazim Zai Khan today conducted a public outreach drive in Banihal to assess the public grievances and availability of essential supplies besides other necessities in prevailing situation.
DC was accompanied by SSP, Anita Sharma, SDM, Zameer Ahmad Rishu and various officers of police and civil administration.
DC visited various areas, shops, houses of some prominent citizens and social activists besides interacting with the general masses. He also enquired about healthcare faculties and status of requirements and supply of essential commodities.
People appreciated the administration's public outreach initiative to build confidence among the them and mutual understanding between public and government. They assured their full cooperation to administration for maintaining law and order in district.
DC hailed the public of district Ramban for maintaining peace, mutual harmony and brotherhood in the district. He hoped that people will uphold this spirit of unity, tranquility and time tested brotherhood in the district.
DC directed the concerned departments to ensure availability of essential commodities besides water and power supply especially in the wake of upcoming Eid festival.
Responding to the public issues, the DC assured that all issues projected by them would be taken into consideration and every effort would be made to ensure a convenient and friendly atmosphere for all. |
