JAMMU, Aug 9: Several Congress leaders have condemned the unlawful and illegal curbs and restrictions on the pro-India main stream leaders of all opposition parties in the entire state and termed the same as totally arbitrary and dictatorial.
In a joint statement several young leaders of the party have questioned the government over the unnecessary restrictions on all senior leaders of all opposition parties including Congress party in Jammu also which is totally un-democratic and arbitrary, as no illegal or unlawful activity has been carried out by the mainstream leaders.
They said dissent is the essence of democracy but BJP Govt. does not want anyone to raise voice against injustice meted to the state, especially Jammu region too for totally abolishing its identity as a state and converting it into UT with Kashmir. People of Jammu are questioning the future of their youth in the new-re-organization but entire communication is stopped and snapped by the Govt.
