2 injured in clash between two groups at Bakshi Nagar

JAMMU, Aug 31: Panic griped in Bakshi Nagar area on Saturday when a clash erupted between two groups over alleged 'old dispute' among them. Both were got injures and hospitalized and a case of attempt to murder has been registered in Police Station Bakshi Nagar.
As per eyewitnesses, on Saturday morning, group members attacked on the opposite party over old dispute and in which second group members also attacked with sharp edged weapon on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Saturday, when two persons, who have been identified as Kapil Sharma and Neeraj Sharma both resident of Bakshi Nagar- attacked each other and got several injuries. Kapil got injuries on neck while Neeraj got injuries on leg in the attack. Both were brought to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu for the treatment where their kith and kin wanted to take them out of state for treatment. But, doctors were against it because the treatment is available in the hospital, following the kith and kin have taken them as per their wish after completing documentation (Leave Against Medical Advice) in the said hospital. As per police officials, the clash took place between them some days back and then a case was also registered in the same Police Station.
SHO Bakshi Nagar Amit Sangra told that a clash broke out between two groups, which is believed to the fallout of an old dispute between them. "Both are getting treatment in hospital, "SHO stated, adding a case FIR no 159/2019 under section 307, 4/25 Arms act has been registered in the Police Station.
