BHADERWAH, Sept 29: District Legal Services Authority, Bhaderwah , under the supervision of its Secretary, Sushil Singh , today organized an awareness camp on "Solid Waste Management, Say No To Use of Plastic/Polythene, Water Conservation and Save Plants" here at BVM School Gatha Bhaderwah which was also attended by the students of adjoining area.
Addressing the gathering comprising of students, faculty members, non teaching staff of the school, the Secretary DLSA Sushil Singh explained in detail about the importance of Solid Waste Management, Water Harvesting, Cleanliness and ill effects of the use of Plastic/Polythene to our environment.
He stressed upon, that Environmental Right is an extension of the basic human rights, that mankind required and deserves and this means that all of us are duty bound to protect the environment.
Besides Secretary, DLSA those who made aware the students regarding environment and cleanliness were PLVs and Advocate Mohd Majid Malik. |
