Kargil School Olympics; 80 matches held on Day 2

Kargil, Sept 29: On the second day of the Kargil School Olympics (KSO) today 80 matches of football, hand ball, volley ball, table tennis, archery, taekwondo, badminton, shot put, Javeline Throw, Long Jump, High Jump and boxing were played at Indoor Stadium, KSC Bemathang and Mutaharry Public School Baroo.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Kargil Muhammad Hussain Rehnuma said that in the final match of Volley Ball Boys Kargil Public School and High School Bhimbhat emerged winners and runners up while as in the finals of Volley Ball Girls High School Saliskote emerged as the winners up by defeating High School Mulbekh. In the final of Girls Kho Kho Sawab Public School Baroo won the final match while as Girls High School Pashkum stood as runners up.
Likewise, the finals of Hand Ball Girls High School Wakha and High School Chanigund emerged winners and runners up respectively.
Kargil block won 1 gold medal in Table Tennis Double Girls, 1 gold medal in Badminton Double Girls, 1 gold medal in Badminton Double Boys, 3 medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively) in Archery Indian Round Girls, 3 medals (Gold, Silver and Bronze respectively) in Archery Recarve Round Boys, 1 silver medal and 1 bronze medal in Archery Recarve Round Girls, 1 silver medal in Long Jump Boys, 1 silver medal in Badminton Single Girls and 1 bronze medal in Table Tennis Single Girls.
Drass block won 2 gold medals in Table Tennis Single Boys and Table Tennis Single Girls besides 1 silver medal in Badminton Double Boys and 2 silver medals Shot Put Boys and Girls.
Shargole block won 1 silver medal in Table Tennis Single Boys, 1 Silver medal in Badminton Double Girls, 1 silver medal in Long Jump Girls and 1 Bronze medal in Badminton Double Boys.
TSG block won 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal in Shot Put Boys, 1 bronze medal in Shot Put Girls, 1 gold medal in Long Jump Boys, 1 gold medal in Javelin Boys and 1 gold medal in Archery Indian Round Boys.
Sankoo block won 1 gold medal in Shot Put Girls, 2 silver medals in Javelin Boys and Girls, 1 bronze medal in Javelin Boys, 1 silver medal in Archery Indian Round Boys, 1 silver medal in Table Tennis Single Girls and 1 Bronze medal in Badminton Single Girls.
Zanskar block won 1 gold medal in Archery Recarve Round Girls, 1 gold medal in Javelin Girls, 1 bronze medal in Table Tennis Single Boys and 1 bronze medal in Long Jump Boys.
Tai Suru block won 1 silver medal only in Badminton Single Boys.
