SKUAST-J Scientist conferred best KVK Scientist Award

Jammu, Sept 29: Dr Narinder Paul, Scientist/Subject Matter Specialist (Extension), Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Doda, Directorate of Extension, Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Jammu (SKUAST-J) has been conferred "Best KVK Scientist Award -2019" during the International Conference on "Recent Advances in Agricultural, Environmental & Applied Sciences for Global Development (RAAEASGD-2019)" held at Dr. Yashwant Singh Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni, Solan, Himachal Pradesh from September 27-29, 2019 in association with Plant Pathology Research Institute, ARC, Cairo University Giza, Egypt and Tribhuvan University, Institute of Forestry, Pokhra Campus, Nepal. More than 450 scientists from across the country and others counties attended the conference. The award has been conferred in recognition of his remarkable 14 years field extension services and contribution to the farming sector while working in the Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), publications in reputed national and international journals, innovative extension approaches devised and carried out in strengthening agriculture extension and promoting scientific agriculture among the farming community.
