| NAUP flays Administration for worst power supply | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Oct 4: Sandeep Singh President National Awami United Party stated that scenario of power supply in Jammu region is worst. He said in year 2016 State government conducted a survey on power demand in Jammu region through a black listed company and poor quality power cables were wired in Jammu leading to loss of state exchequer.
He said administration has failed to provide regular power supply and drinking water to Jammuites. Moreover, big claims of administration that its providing 24/7 power supply is false as rural and surrounding areas of Jammu are without regular supply. Furthermore in one rain which lashed Jammu city yesterday, has exposed administration for not able to provide basic public utilities to Jammuites, roads are full of potholes and power lines are broken and there is no power in many areas surrounding Jammu city. He warned administration to provide regular power and drinking supply and check corruption in Power department immediately. Pankaj Langoo Provincial Secretary Jammu & Chintan Gupta District Vice President Jammu were also present. |
