| Jodhamal students celebrate Gandhi jayanti in Nepal | | |

Jammu, Oct 4: A team of 28 students of Jodhamal Public School Jammu headed by Ajay Kumar , Neetu Johari and Harish Gosain in collaboration with Gandian Peace Foundation Nepal celebrated 150th birth anniversary of Father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi in Nepal. The programmes were organized by Department of Tourism and National Health training centre, Teku under Department of Health, Kathmandu, Nepal. Director of Indian embassy Dr. Acharaya Mahesh Sharma graced the occasion and honoured the students and staff of Jodhamal Public School. The highlights of the shows were the presentation given by Tourism deptt. about their Nepal 20-20 plan, Nukkad Natak, Dances and Bhajans performed by the students and escort teachers of Jodhamal Public School. The celebrations ended with a positive note leaving a strong impact on the students and other people present there about the Gandian philosophy. Among the eminent personalities present during the functions were Lal Bahadur Rana President Gandhi peace Foundation Nepal , Secretary Gandhi Peace Foundation Nepal, Director Health Services Nepal ,Tourism secretary Nepal, Editor-in-Chief of magazine 'The Republic" and Ajay Kumar, President of Human Rights Foundation India. |
