Udhampur, Oct 25: Army Public school Udhampur added one more feather to its cap by lifting the Northern Command Quiz Competition held at Army Public school Nagrota in which six Army Public school from the command had participated namely, Army Public school Nagrota , Army Public school Udhampur, Army Public school Dhar Road, Army Public school Rakhmuthi, Army Public school Srinagar and Army Public school Leh.
The playing team comprising of Akashika Mate, Sehaj Tandi and Aaryaman Suryavanshi, with Vidhi Gupta and Shikhar Kar as reserves emphatically won the competition by defeating all other teams comprehensively to lift the winning trophy. The quiz competition was segmented into six rounds and the winning team maintained their lead throughout the six rounds.
The team has now qualified to represent Northern Command for the National level Quiz competition to be held in Delhi in November. The teams, along with their teacher mentor , Suraj Rakwal was congratulated by the Principal, Sanjeev Kumar who lauded their efforts and wised them luck for the finals in Delhi. |
