Ex MLA tours Ward No 35, discusses issues

Jammu, Nov 9: Former MLA Jammu West Sat Sharma (CA) visited Ward 35 of Jammu West Assembly segment and interacted with hundreds of inhabitants of the ward on whose demand the tour was conducted by the Former Minister. Sharma was also accompanied by a large number of people including Corporator Ward No. 35 Yash Pal Sharma (Mantoo), Janipur Mandal President BJP Raveesh Mengi, PDD (Power Development Department) officials, UEED (Urban Environmental Engineering Department) officials, local residents and political activists of the area. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that the tour was conducted on demand of local residents of the area. He said that the basic objective of conducting the tour was to overcome the problem being faced by the UEED department who have taken up the construction works of streamlining the Deep Drain (Nullah) which starts from Excelsior lane and is being constructed upto Baba Mast Ram Ashram Patoli at an estimated cost of Rupees 5.20 crores with an approx length of more than 1 kilometres. XEn PDD Neeraj Sharma, AEE UEED Anil Sharma, Sanket, Sanjay Bhat, Yash Pal Gupta, Thodu Ram Bhau, Ram Ji, Sandesh Dogra and several others were also present.
