| 37 stranded families rescued, provided assistance | | |  Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, Nov 9: District Administration, Srinagar along with Police rescued 37 stranded nomadic families in Tehsil Panthachowk in the wake of heavy snowfall.
These families were provided accommodation at Panthachowk apart from blankets, ration and assistance for basic needs.
The nomadic families along with livestock were on way to Poonch district. Tehsildar Panthachowk Younis Bangroo under the supervision of SDM East Sandeep Singh Bali provided the assistance on behalf of district administration. |
