Poonch, Nov 10: The local Administration and Police of Poonch and Rajouri districts have succeeded in maintaining law and order after SC's verdict on Ayodhay land dispute. The locals of twin districts cutting across religious line showed unprecedented happiness and welcomed the verdict.
The entire atmosphere of the twin districts remained peaceful and police as well as the administrations played vital roles in maintaining communal harmony. The people openly welcomed the decision. They demanded that police deserve high appreciation for its splendid job during this time and even post abrogation of article 370. "The police officials should be awarded for their outstanding job in successfully tackling with this sensitive situation. The DySP Operation Bhisham Kumar Dubey, DIG Rajour-Poonch Vivek Gupta and DDCs of both districts of Rajouri, Poonch," they said.
They said that DySP Bhisham Kumar Dubey played very important role post abrogation of Article 370, when while dealing with a protest he suffered injuries but didn't allow the miscreant to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere. The locals demanded that DySP should be given award for his courage to avert untoward incident.
