Pak PM stoops low, rakes Kashmir again
Kartarpur corridor inaugural ceremony
11/10/2019 11:50:13 PM
Early Times Report

JAMMU, Nov 10: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan once again on Saturday raked Kashmir on the occasion of inaugural ceremony of Kartarpur corridor.
An analyst while talking to Early Times said, "It is unfortunate that Imran Khan linked the opening of Kartarpur corridor with Kashmir and tried to send a message that everything is connected to Kashmir." He said, "The Kartarpur corridor has nothing to do with Kashmir but Khan didn't leave the opportunity to pinch India. On the other hand Prime Minister Narendra Modi showed magnanimity and thanked Imran Khan for understanding India's vision and opening the Kartarpur corridor. This shows the difference between the mindsets of both the leaders Khan and Pakistan are obsessed with Kashmir while our leadership wants to move ahead."
It may be recalled before the opening of the Kartarpur corridor, videos of the complex released by Pakistan went viral on the social media. The video showed the posters eulogizing Khalistan and Bhindranwale.
Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amrinder Singh had taken a strong note of the posters and warned that Pakistan could promote terrorism through the Kartarpur corridor and it cannot be trusted. An observer said, "Pakistan has got a chequered history and all of us know it very well that it has always backstabbed India. These facts cannot be ignored. Khan raking Kashmir during his speech on the occasion of the opening of Kartarpur corridor is a hint that Pakistan is not ready to mend its ways and can go to any extent to carry forward its divisive agenda."
He said, "The cross-LoC trade between Jammu & Kashmir and Pakistan occupied Kashmir which was started as a major confidence building measure between the two countries had to be called off as Pakistan made full use of it to spread terror and provide financial support to the terrorism related activities in J&K."
Another analyst said that concerns being raised by the security and intelligence agencies viz a viz Kartarpur corridor cannot be brushed aside. These need to be taken seriously as all of us know it very well that Pakistan Army and ISI which control the political establishment in Pakistan, can go to any extent to carry forward its nefarious designs."
He said, "It has been established beyond doubt during the past seventy years that Pakistan is not a friend and is a hostile neighbour which wants to somehow create disturbances in India."
