Jammu Sanskriti School organizes conference

Jammu, Nov 10: Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu today organized Model United Nation Conference 2019 in collaboration with Global Peace MUN.
The Conference lasted for three days. The inaugural function was illuminated under the benign presence of Purshottam Dadhichi (RSS head, J&K) & D.K Mangal (MLA from Samba District, Jammu), Harpreet Singh Anand (Chairperson of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu) and Rohini Aima (Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the School.
The opening ceremony began with the lighting of lamp by esteemed guests and presentation of bouquets followed by address of Rohini Aima; Principal cum Vice-Chairperson of the School, Arjun Mahajan; Secretary General GPMUN) & Joshua (founder President GPMUN)
The second day of Conference was ignited with the committee sessions which included 7 Committees & intense Political agendas were discusses in it. Around 160 delegates participated in the event and displayed great zeal & enthusiasm. The event further commenced with the Prize distribution ceremony. Prizes were given in three categories viz., Best delegate, highest accommodation & special mentions. The school Delegation Trophy was awarded to Jodhamal Public School while one of the students Amber Bhat of Jammu Sanskriti School, Jammu was awarded with highest accommodation in UNHRC Committee. All the dignitaries appreciated the meticulous and impeccable event and congratulated all the participants.
The valedictory function was graced by Chandra Mohan Gupta (Mayor of JMC) & Col. Virendra Kumar Sahi (a war veteran, Social activist & a Vir Chakra Awardee) who distributed the prizes & trophies to the winners of various events. The Chief Guest & Guests of honor appreciated the efforts put in by the team GPMUN & School Staff & Students for their meticulous planning & smooth conduct of the whole event.
