Thought DIET
12/20/2019 7:59:07 PM
Mahadeep Singh Jamwal

'Thought diet' means, we have to cut down on all those Insalubrious pessimistic and extravagant speculation that offer no nourishment valuation. We have to start feeding our mind with confident robust understanding. It actualizes our mind healthier and wake up us to happiness. Living in fear of anything is a terrible waste. There is nothing that wastes the body like worry. Taking responsibility for everything that falls within the scope of our role, authority, mission or objectives free us from the shackles of an oppressive reality. What's real to us is what we imagine and what we feel. If we manage our illusions wisely, we might get what we want.
The suggested harmonized dietary for the intellect care is creative ideas, powerful thoughts and to have good feelings both for our self and for others. "I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong." - Abraham Lincoln. This is a passage gate to the world of happiness and a healthy living. Be happy be healthy. Happiness acts as a powerful tonic to mind. When one takes everything seriously, there is little scope of enjoyment, cheerfulness or the lighter moments as one is always engrossed in the thoughts of doing better and better always and every time. Once in a while give yourself a break, be a non-serious player, let all burdens of your heart disappear and only then, we will discover a new man in our self. Wake up to happiness. When we see something our emotions are triggered instantly and in this process, we have already said or done something before we have thought it thoroughly. It in fact only takes our brains half a second to process an event therefore allowing us no time to think logically and come up with a considered response. Responding in this short time is very difficult. So the choice we have here is to learn to step back for another half second so as to pause and reflect before we respond or to carry on reacting and then mopping up the mess. The cleaning up of the messes from instant responses can take a lot of efforts and take quite a while to put it right. We need to be able to take that step back, if we want to go from just seeing and reacting to seeing reflecting and responding. Success does not come from winning. Our struggles develop our strengths. When we pass through hardships and decide not to surrender, that is strength leading us to firmness to pass over the test for winning and then to success. Struggle is an incentive to push for success. The nature of success requires ambition, a hard work ethic, inspiration, and motivation. Life is a series of natural and spontaneous changes. "I am not bound to win, but I am bound to be true. I am not bound to succeed, but I am bound to live by the light that I have. I must stand with anybody that stands right, and stand with him while he is right, and part with him when he goes wrong." - Abraham Lincoln. More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness the other to total extinction. One should have the wisdom to choose correctly. If a man will begin with certainties, he shall end in doubts; but if will be content to begin with doubts, he shall end in certain. One should onto the vision of his strength persistently. The most beautiful people we have known are those who have known defeat, known suffering, known struggle, known loss, and have found their way out of those depths - Elisabeth Kubler-Ross.
