Jammu, Dec 20: Tiny Tots Hr Sec School Celebrated its Annual Cum Sports Day Function in the School Grounds today.
The Chief Guest for the day were Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu and S K Sharma Addl Commissioner Income tax , Jammu. S K Sharma (IRS) Addl Commissioner Income tax , Jammu declared the meet open by Lighting of the torch which was taken around the field by the Head Boy of the School, Imad Ul haq which was followed by march past.
Dr Vikram Handa, The Principal of the School welcomed the guests and apprised the audience that the sports events and various other competitions had been going on for the last two weeks with the finals of various Athletic events including the sprints, long jump and fun races for the junior classes to be held during the day.
The yoga team of the school performed various "asanas" for the guest in different formations in a beautiful manner. The Karate drill highlighted the various forms of self-defence with students presenting full contact demonstration for the audience.
The little martial arts specialist were a sight of precise coordination. Gurpreet Handa , the Director of the school read the annual report for the parents highlighting the achievements and the progress made by the school in the preceeding year. She also spoke about the future activities planned by the school for the next academic year.
Veena Handa, the Chairperson of the group spoke about the importance of curricular activities in shaping up the future of the children.
The Chief Guest for the day was Chander Mohan Gupta Mayor Jammu .He congratulated the management for organising such a mesmerizing event and said it was extremely well co-ordinated and encouraged the students to continue taking part in such activities for their all round development.
He also congratulated the parents for promoting and encouraging the children. He emphasisesd that the school management must open more branches even in the valley to impart quality education.
The other dignitaries present during the day included Deepali Handa, Deepak Handa.
