Jammu, Dec 20: Jammu District Cycling Championship 2019-20 concludes here today at Forest Protection Force Ground, Sidhra, Jammu.
The chief guest on this occasion was Rajeev Sharma Assistant Director Forest Protection Force and Guest of Honour was Ravi Singh Divisional Sports Officer, Jammu. The championship was declared open by Rajeev Sharma Assistant Director Forest Protection Force.
About 50 Cyclists from District took part in the championship in various groups and showed their talent. The championship was held under the supervision by Ravinder Singh President, S.S Gill General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, Om Parakash Associate Secretary, Veteran Cyclists Jammu and Kashmir Cycling Association, Ravi Salgotra Treasurer (JKCA), Vikesh Sharma, Gurpreet Singh. The Following are the results of the championship:-
For under 14 section Tanmay Sharma stood 1st, Hashir 2nd, For under 17 Rajveer Singh 1st, Arnav Mahjan 2nd, Nipun Anand 3rd, For under elite group Manav 1st, Anish Dubey 2nd, Rohit Panyalia 3rd. The Forest Protection Force and Police Post, Sidhra play important role in conduct of the Championship. |
