Foundation stone for state of art private hospital laid at Kishtwar

Jammu, Dec 26: As a part of major boast to heath infrastructure in remote and neglected area of Kishtwar District where hundreds of poor patients die every year due to lack of proper health infrastructure,a Madhya Pradesh based health organization "Aliza Group" has decided to invest around Rs 20-25 Crore for building state of art hospital in Kishtwar ,first such investment by non local organization in health sector following the abrogation of Article 370 and 35 A of the constitution that barred the non locals from any investment in private sector or purchase of land in state of Jammu and Kashmir-now a union territory.
As per the details available with "Early Times", prominent social activist and President Municipal Committee Kishtwar Raiz Ahmed Zarger laid the foundation stone of the "Aliza Hospital and Diagnostic Center" at Bindraband, in the outskirts of Kishtwar town-Kishtwar Hospital will be the 3rd venture of Aliza group of Hospitals after the group successfully runs the two hospital in Sawayae Madohpur in Rajasthan & Indore in Madhya Pradesh.
The hospital will be spread over 5.5 Kanals of land and the initial infrastructure will be build on around 2 Kanal of the land. The hospital will be build up on Private-Public Partnership bases between Dr. Shabana Parveen/ Muzzaffar Hussain Kalal, native of Kishtwar with the Aliza Group of Hospitals and as per the proprietor, the hospital will be ready by the end of next year.
Raiz Ahmed Zarger while hailing the efforts of Aliza group said that Kishtwar is in dire need of health infrastructure and laid stress for more such investments in private sector that not only will deliver services to the public, but at the same time will create job avenues for the local unemployed youths.
Speaking to Early Times' proprietor Muzzaffar Hussain Kalal said that Kishtwar that people living in areas like Marwah, Warwan, Dachhan, Bhunzwah, Padder and Nagsini are the remotest and backward areas of District with no proper road connectivity beside the basic health infrastructure wasin shamble s. He said that returning to Kishtwar after over two decades his first thought goes towards building proper health infrastructure as many people died due to referral to hospitals outside the District. He said with the passage of time-more investment will be brought in the District in near future and seeks cooperation from Public and administration for successful operation of the proposed hospital.
