Jammu, Dec 28: MHAC Nagbani celebrates Annual day today Chief Guest for the day was Farooq Khan, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, J&K.
The other dignitaries on the occasion were Dr. Tahir Firdous, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu who was the Guest of Honour.
A guard of honour was given to the Chief Guest followed by an impressive march-past by the students, NCC and Naval Cadets led by the Head Boy and Head Girl of the school.
Principal, Sween Puri read out the Annual Report and especially extolled the students on their achievements in various fields- be it academics or sports.
The chief guest in his address said that he felt great to be in the school whenever he had come to school, he found it as another temple in the city of temples where proud citizens of India are produced.
The chief guest appreciated the excellent show and the efforts of teachers and students. He stated that the students have smartly carved a niche for themselves.
The guest of Honour in his address said that he privileged to be a part of this extravaganza.
As many as 280 trophies for Inter-House activities, 95 National Awards & 180 Academic achievers & students council members have been awarded during the session. The trophies for Academic and Co-curricular activities were lifted by Ranbir House for the academic session 2019-20.
Vote of thanks was proposed by Principal Ms. Sween Puri. The program came to an end with the chanting of Shanti Path and National Anthem. |
