Tug-of-war championship organized

JAMMU, Dec 28: In the ongoing Annual 4th open Inter- District U.T level (Men and Women) Tug-of-war championship organized by Jammu & Kashmir Tug-Of-War Association which concluded today Unique Club Gadi Garh won the championship in girls section and District won the Championship in Boys section.
On this occasion Hardeep Singh Anand (President Tug-Of-War Association) was the chief guest and disturbuted trophy's and certificates among the winners and runners. He wished all the participants best of luck for their future endeavors. He appealed all the participants to take part in games as it keeps our body fit and our mind fresh and the winners can represent National and Inter-national events.
The selected 30 players which represented this tournament of this championship will be representing the forthcoming 32th senior National Men and Women championship which will be held at Nandad in Maharashtra scheduled from 15 to 18 January 2020. Earlier, chairman of Unique Public Higher Secondary School, Gadi Garh, Jammu Jasbir Singh welcomed the distinguished gathering and presented a brief note on the competition. In his note he highlighted the achievements of the Tug-of-war Association at the Union Territory level for a long time which encouraged the youth who participated at the National and International level.
Prominent among those present were Jodh Singh Isher (Gen Secondary J&K Tug Of War Ass), Jasbir Singh (Chairman UPHSS), AR Anger,(Kashmir) Nirlep Kour (Principal & Vice Chairperson), Tariq Ahmed, Jagdish Sharma (Administrator), Ravinder Singh, Gourav Dubey, Neha Chib, Sunil Kumar and Harpreet Kour.
