UDHAMPUR, Dec 28: English Mass recitation Competition for the Primary area was held at DPS Udhampur.
The musical and rhythmic words of the poetry were enjoyed by the students. They enjoyed the beauty of thoughts, feelings, expression and rhyming in the poem as it was an Inter Class competition, so all the classes from I to V came up with different poems and recited them with great zeal and enthusiasm children selected a variety of topic for their recitation like Magic keys, Good manners, sun and moon, wheels of the Bus, What we see, Save nature, 3 R's, save Water, Teachers, Examination, Stop Pollution, Bold and free India and 'I', not a victim anymore' a poem on 'Barbarial Attitude of Mall towards Female' Two judges were invited to witness the competition. They were Shivane Koul and Lakhvinder Kour. The Principal DPS Udhampur, Dr. Kunal Anand appreciated the efforts of the teachers and applauded the performances of the participants
The event was organized by CCA incharge Siloni Thakur under the supervision of Coordinator Sangeeta Nargotra. The Pro-Vice Chairman of the school Dr. J.C.Gupta appreciated the efforts of his faculty members in training the students for such a wonderful event. |
