| SUF stages protest against Pakistan | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 5: A strong protest was held outside the Digiana Ashram Jammu on National Highway under the banner of Sikh United Front J&K lead by S. Sudershan Singh Wazir Chairman Sikh United front along with the cooperation of various Sikh Organization J&K including Sheromani Akali Dal J&K, Bhai Kanaya Nishkam Seva Society J&K, Sikh Naujwan Sabha, AISSF, Sikh Welfare Society, Sheromani Youth Akali Dal, IStri Akali Dal, Local Gurdwara Committees and Members of DGPC Jammu. The protest against mob attack on Gurdwara Nankana Sahib Pakistan the Birth place of Guru Nanak Sahib and the stone pelting on the Sikh pilgrims in Pakistan.
While leading the protest S. Sudershan Singh Wazir lambasted the Imran Khan Govt. for its double standards saying that on one hand Pakistani govt. opens Kartarpur corridor to Sikh devotees for pilgrimage of Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara while on the other hand some miscreants pelted stones and uttered abusive words for the same shrine and Sikh community as a whole which is living in minority in the state of Pakistan. He urged the Pakistan Govt. to insure the security and safety of religious places of minorities in that country as the attack has hurt the Sikh sentiments not only of Sikh community all over the world but members of other religion as well. |
