| Congress dividing people in name of religion on CAA: Sat | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 5: Under the nationwide programs launched by BJP on CAA (Citizenship Amendment Act), BJP unit of Jammu West organized public meetings in support of the Act in Wards 24 and 33. Former Minister and Ex-MLA Jammu West mainly presided over the programs. Sharma was also accompanied by District President Munish Khajuria, State Treasurer BJP Prabhat Singh, State Secretary BJP Praduman Singh, Mohan Singh Rana, Mandal Presidents Raveesh Mengi & Keshav Chopra and programs was attended by inhabitants and political activists of the areas. The programs were organized by Urvashi Gupta & Mohit Vaid. Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that people now understand the reality behind CAA and people themselves are coming on roads supporting it. He also blamed Congress for dividing people in the name of religion and said that people must know about the Anti India approach adopted by Congress and its partners on the Act. He stated that India Supports CAA because it is about giving citizenship to persecuted refugees living in neighbouring countries and not about taking anyone's citizenship away. He appealed citizens to show open hearted support in favor of CAA and also asked them to not to fall into the traps of communalism and hatred led by Congress and its allies. |
