| Congress Sewa Dal raises issues of villages | | |  Early Times Report
Vijaypur, Jan 5: District President Congress Sewa Dal Raj Kumar Bhagat discussed pitiable conditions of some villages of District Samba which are located within the hilly terrain of Shivalika Hills. He said that these villages are still depriving off the basic facilities drinking water, electricity, road as well as education. He embarrassed the past leaders of Samba Constituency who are making the hollow claims that they have upgraded the schools and provided the roads and also the drinking water facilities to each village of District Samba. He told that the true picture may be ascertained by visiting to the village Khirdi, Bardan, Nangal, Lovely, Chilla Danga, Sadral, Karnal etc of Block Purmandal. He said that during the regime of Congress-NC regime the earth work of road in these villages was done but for the last six years nothing has been done for development and construction of said roads. The condition of these roads becomes bad to worsen. Further told that the people of these village are still using the drinking water from Nallah or Well. They have no Tube well water facilities. Moreover some villages have no electricity facilities. He urged the LG JK UT to declare these villages as Tribal Area. The Government of India is making claim the India will be supreme power of world in 21st century. The Govt. of India has taken initiatives of Back to Village Programmes so that the administration took into the stock regarding the basic problems of the villages of far flung area but these schemes all in vain. |
