Div Com reviews progress on identification of land for development of Industrial estates Asks DCs to expedite the process and submit details of land in his office at the earliest 1/7/2020 10:31:36 PM Early times Report JAMMU, Jan 7: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma today chaired a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu Division and other concerned officers to review the progress on identification of land for the development of Industrial Estates in the districts of the division. The meeting was attended by Director Industries and Commerce Jammu, Anoo Malhotra, Assistant Commissioner (RA), Atul Gupta, ADC Jammu, Dr Tahir Firdous, Deputy Director Planning, Chaman Lal besides General Managers of DICs and other concerned officers while Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division along with other concerned officers attended the meeting through video conferencing. The DCs apprised the Div Com about total chunk of land available in their respective districts for the development of Industrial estates. It was informed that in some districts land has been identified but joint inspections of concerned officers is pending besides district administration is in process of preparing revenue papers of already identified land for transfer of land. A threadbare discussion was held on already identified land and the Div Com underlined the need for taking necessary measures for identification of suitable chunk land for setting up industrial estates in the districts. The Div Com asked the concerned officers to conduct visits at already identified land and further asked the DCs to expedite the process of identification of land and submit the details in his office at the earliest.
