Mayor interacts with ex-municipal councilors

JAMMU, Jan 30: To carry forward his commitment for “Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas”, Chander Mohan Gupta, Mayor Jammu Municipal Corporation in a unique way invited all the former Municipal Councilors of Jammu city at a simple but impressive function specially organized by him. He held brief interaction with all of the dignitaries who gave their valuable suggestions/feedback having vast experience of serving people of Jammu city in one way or other. Ashok Khajuria Ex-Councilor and former MLA/MLC, Rajesh Gupta Ex-Municipal Councilor & former MLA, Murari Lal , Ex- Municipal Councilor, Manmohan Choudhary Ex-Mayor , along with about fifty five other Ex Municipal Councilors including female councilors belonging to different political parties were present during this unique and extraordinary function as all the dignitaries appreciated the Mayor Chander Mohan Gupta for remembering them even after a gap of more than 10 years and inviting them after sparing time from his very busy schedule being the father of Jammu city. Ashok Khajuria, senior most dignitary gave his valuable suggestions and shared his vast experience. Rajesh Gupta also said that there should be no party system after becoming public representative and all the elected councilors should work for the betterment of Jammu city irrespective of party wise which is key of his success and he has raised from councilor to MLA. Manmohan Choudhary Ex-Mayor also gave his valuable suggestions which will help in enhancing revenue of the department in the long run. He also asked that there should be a library for old and senior citizens in each ward.
Mayor welcomed all the Ex-Councilors and thanked them for giving their valuable suggestions and said that all these suggestions will be implemented in letter and spirit.
