Pak desperate to revive Jaish through foreign terrorists in Kashmir
1/31/2020 1:02:09 AM
Early Times Report

Srinagar, Jan 30: With the security forces having recently eliminated the top leadership of the Jaish-e-Muhammad, which is one of the deadliest terror outfits operating in Kashmir, the Pakistan-based terror group is now eyeing to revive the network at an earliest through foreign terrorists in the valley.
Sources said the intelligence agencies have received inputs that Pakistan is desperate to revive the base of Jaish-e-Muhammad in restive Kashmir and that foreign terrorists already hiding in the valley would be given the charge.
Sources said the Jaish wants to revive its base in Kashmir in February, the month which coincides with the execution anniversaries of Muhammad Maqbool Bhat and Afzal Guru, and is “trying hard to strike any government establishment in the region” thus putting the security grid on tenterhooks.
It is pertinent to mention that the Jaish commander was recently killed along with two of his accomplice in Tral area with the security forces terming the encounter as wiping out of the Jaish. The slain terrorist was also a Pakistani national, who had infiltrated into the valley in 2016.With his killing, the Jaish had been wiped out from the valley.
But now the sources said the intelligence agencies have received inputs that Pakistan was trying hard to get connected to their terror base in Kashmir such that new leadership of Jaish is established and announced without any delay. “They are desperate to announce the new leadership with a foreign name,” said a senior official on the condition of anonymity. As per the officials around 100 foreign terrorists have infiltrated into Kashmir in 2019 alone. “Any of such faces is likely to be tasked to revive it(Jaish),” said one official.
Headed by Pakistani Azhar Masood who was released from Tihar Jail against release of Indian Airlines passengers in 1999, Jaish, has been behind some of the deadliest terror attacks in Kashmir.
In February 2019, over 40 paramilitary jawans were killed by a suicide bomber associated with the Jaish.
